Already mentioned this is NBA All Star Weekend in the Phoenix area.
We forgot to mention the other World Class Events going on, this weekend Scottsdale is hosting the 54th Annual Arabian Horse Show.
Also, these events might not be world class events, yet. But this weekend Scottsdale is also host to the Hard Rock Invitational (gymnast), the Arizona Fine Arts Expo and the 5th Avenue Fine Art and Wine Festival.
And let's not forget about The Cactus League Spring Training. Pitchers and catchers reported to work today and the rest of the team reports next week. Games start on February 25.
